Operations, technology and information management at the Johnson School
This interdisciplinary Ph.D. concentration focuses on data-driven behavioral and mathematical methods of analysis to address high-impact managerial decision problems.
While based in the Johnson School, you can take advantage of the research excellence across Cornell, including the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management and the School of Computing and Information Sciences. You will explore topics such as:
- inventory theory
- supply chain management
- revenue management
- data analytics and optimization
- digital business models and marketplaces
- service/healthcare operations
- behavioral operations
- machine learning and natural language processing
As you complete your concentration electives, you’ll begin to form an idea for your dissertation and start to form your faculty committee.
