Biography
Houtian (Frank) Ge's research covers a wide range of multidisciplinary topics, including production economics, agribusiness, marketing, supply chain management and operations research. He is deeply committed to developing computational methods for optimization models to generate solutions for complex real economic systems and for strategic management issues. He is most interested in applying multi-pronged modeling approaches and incorporating multi-source datasets to investigate how the structure of economic systems interacts with individual motivations and is shaped by broader regional/local contexts.
