Master of Management Hospitality (MMH) students
Welcome to the Master of Management in Hospitality (MMH) program at the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration. This page brings together key resources to help you prepare for the program, connect with support and make the most of your graduate student experience. Use these resources to get ready for orientation, schedule advising and career appointments, strengthen your communication skills, explore student organizations and find support throughout the year.
Orientation
MMH Orientation is designed to help you begin the program with confidence. During orientation, you’ll meet classmates, Nolan School faculty and staff from the Office of Student Services, Advising, and Registrar. You’ll also participate in team-building activities and sessions focused on academic, professional and career success.
Orientation typically includes a career development session, an introduction to the Hotel Graduate Student Organization and a guided campus tour to help you get familiar with your new environment and available resources. More detailed orientation information will be shared with incoming students before the program begins.
Advising and student services
The Office of Student Services, Advising, and Registrar supports MMH students with academic advising, registration questions and general student support. Students may schedule an appointment with an academic advisor using the online scheduling tool.
Career Development Center
The Career Development Center helps MMH students explore career paths, prepare for recruiting and build confidence throughout the internship and job search process. Students are encouraged to meet with a career professional early, whether they are still exploring options or already focused on a specific path.
Career support includes career exploration, internship and job search strategy, interview preparation, salary and job negotiation guidance, and resume and cover letter reviews. Students may schedule a meeting through the Online Appointment Scheduler Tool.
