Classes are held every other weekend, on Saturday and Sunday. The program also features four week-long residential sessions. These sessions are held at the start of each academic term.

Students attend the live weekend classes online from a dedicated study space in their home or office. During the program’s four residential sessions, classes are held at the main Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York, and at the Cornell Tech campus in New York City.

The Cornell EMBA Americas admissions process is online. Once you start an application, you can work on it at your convenience. We consider your application complete after you hit “submit” and we confirm receipt of your transcripts and reference letters. A personal interview is the last step in the application process. Decisions are typically returned two weeks after the interview.

No, the Cornell EMBA Americas program does not have a standard testing requirement. We determine academic readiness by reviewing your prior academic performance. If we believe you need academic preparation before starting the program, we may ask you to take a test or complete prerequisite coursework.
