Baker program director Dustin Jones shares how domestic and international case study treks help students strengthen their mastery of commercial real estate.

To the many significant honors and awards she has accrued in her career, Uma Lele recently added one from the Dyson School, the Clifton R. Wharton Jr. Emerging Markets Award.

Moderated by Richard Baker ’88, the CEO of NRDC Equity Partners and governor and executive chairman of the Hudson’s Bay Company, the discussion was hosted by Cornell’s Center for Real Estate and Finance (CREF) and Baker Program in Real Estate.

Faculty, staff, and students gathered in early May to celebrate the end of a dynamic and productive academic year at the Hotel School.

Although I’m well aware of how powerful the Hotelie network is, this trip really reaffirmed it for me. We were 2,631 miles away from Ithaca, but still somehow felt like everywhere we went, Cornell and SHA was with us.
