Cornell Investment Ideas Forum
March 17, 2023 – Virtual Event
The Cornell Investment Ideas Forum is sponsored by the Investing at Cornell interdisciplinary theme in conjunction with the Parker Center for Investment Research. This event is designed to allow Cornell undergraduate and first-year graduate students to share their unique investment ideas spanning any industry or subject, get feedback, and participate in an investment competition. With over 15 clubs across campus that pursue investing as one of their activities, it is hoped that the event would support Investing at Cornell’s goal of bridging connections between these students. In addition to gaining valuable experience and competing before judges, students will have an opportunity to hear from and interact with Cornell alumni in the industry.
Teams of up to four will create an investment pitch which can cover any industry or subject from traditional long equity stock pitches to real-estate, VC, LBO ideas and more. The event is open to first-year graduate students and undergraduates. Undergraduate teams must have at least two underclassmen team members. Clubs may enter only one team per club. Independent teams are welcome as well.
