David Wooten joins the Dyson School with an academic focus on self-presentation and consumption, social influences on consumption, word of mouth, and competitive shopping.

Experience

Most recently, Wooten was marketing area chair, faculty director of diversity, the Alfred L. Edwards Collegiate Professor, and a professor of marketing at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.

His academic background includes a PhD and MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and a BBA from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University.
