The Cornell Institute for China Economic Research (CICER) has been hosting an annual summer program in economics and business since 2017. The goal of this program is to help college students gain an in-depth understanding of the most important economic and business challenges facing China, the U.S., and the world. Through live and interactive learning sessions, participants have many opportunities to consult with professors and professionals, network with Cornell students, and make new friends!

Considering the long wait time for a visa interview appointment at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate, we are starting our application process earlier this year. The dates for the 2024 on-campus summer program are 15 July – 2 August 2024. We hope to see you on the beautiful campus of Cornell University in the summer of 2024!

The application deadline has been extended to 15 April 2024.
Our final online information session will be held on 24 March (Sunday) at 10-11 a.m. (Beijing time).
Please use Tencent Meeting ID 929-788-1677 to join.

CICER’s summer program offers courses and academic seminars by prominent professors, an information session about U.S. graduate school applications, a discussion panel about career choices by Cornell alums, and guest speakers from international organizations, etc. All sessions are live and interactive!
