Several students in the One-Year, Two-Year, and Johnson Cornell Tech MBA programs were individually recognized for their contributions and achievements at the annual Dean’s Awards Brunch on Friday, May 25.

Through Shatterproof, the national organization that Gary Mendell ’79 founded to change how addiction is perceived, prevented, and treated, his son Brian is continuing to help others years after his death in 2011 at the age of 25.

For me, it took stepping away from Sage Hall to truly appreciate what I have learned there. I spent the summer working in hospital administration at a children’s hospital in Utah and am completing my Park project with a local non-profit.

We spoke with five of the amazing faculty that will be teaching courses during PDP and asked about their motivation to teach professionals, excitement about the program, and ideas for how to keep participants engaged.

The 1,324 individuals, from undergraduates to PhDs, will graduate as the second class of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business in May 2018.

Anne Estabrook ’65, MBA ’66, owner and chairman of Elberon Development Group, credits Johnson with teaching her how to be a leader and make her voice heard.
