Several students in the One-Year, Two-Year, and Johnson Cornell Tech MBA programs were individually recognized for their contributions and achievements at the annual Dean’s Awards Brunch on Friday, May 25.

The 1,324 individuals, from undergraduates to PhDs, will graduate as the second class of the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business in May 2018.

Students, faculty, and staff gathered on Friday, April 27, 2018, for an awards ceremony in recognition of some of the many excellent contributions during the 2017–2018 academic year.

There is a lot of work to be done for women in business, but they are shattering that proverbial glass ceiling and continuing to pave the way for future generations.

In a recent study by Dean Kate Walsh, lecturer Susan Fleming, & professor Cathy Enz, female executives were asked to share their thoughts on long-term growth and retention of women professionals. Emerald Publishing turned this study into an infographic which highlights the four factors that the respondents considered to be key in supporting women in the workplace.

Dean Kate Walsh moderated a panel that explored the approaches women can take to navigate challenges and achieve successful careers.

I believe that part of celebrating what makes us unique means having purposeful discussions around diversity, equity, and inclusion.
