By the last night of the trip, there was a general sentiment of deep-seated appreciation for the opportunity to be exposed to the realities of agribusiness development in Uganda.

My 33 classmates have become close friends — the NY-factor turned out to be a program full of excited, intellectually curious, future economists.

In hindsight, there was not merely one instance, but numerous, seemingly trivial moments that collectively shaped my opinion of and love for the school.
